Executive Purchase on Prohibiting Particular Imports, Exports, and New Investment decision with Regard to Ongoing Russian Federation Aggression

I, JOSEPH R. Segment 1.  (a)  The following are prohibited:
 

(i)    the importation into the United States of the following products and solutions of Russian Federation origin:  fish, seafood, and preparations thereof alcoholic drinks non-industrial diamonds and any other products of Russian Federation origin as could be established by the Secretary of the Treasury, in consultation with the Secretary of Condition and the Secretary of Commerce
 

(ii)   the exportation, reexportation, sale, or offer, right or indirectly, from the United States, or by a United States individual, where ever situated, of luxury products, and any other products as could be established by the Secretary of Commerce, in session with the Secretary of Point out and the Secretary of the Treasury, to any man or woman located in the Russian Federation
 

(iii)  new expense in any sector of the Russian Federation economic system as might be decided by the Secretary of the Treasury, in session with the Secretary of State, by a United States individual, anywhere located
 

(iv)   the exportation, reexportation, sale, or offer, right or indirectly, from the United States, or by a United States man or woman, where ever situated, of U.S. dollar-denominated banknotes to the Authorities of the Russian Federation or any man or woman situated in the Russian Federation and
 

(v)    any approval, funding, facilitation, or ensure by a United States person, anywhere located, of a transaction by a international man or woman in which the transaction by that international human being would be prohibited by this segment if carried out by a United States individual or within the United States.
 

(b)  The prohibitions in subsection (a) of this portion apply besides to the extent furnished by statutes, or in restrictions, orders, directives, or licenses that could be issued pursuant to this get, or pursuant to the export management authorities applied by the Department of Commerce, and notwithstanding any contract entered into or license or allow granted prior to the day of this purchase.
 

Sec. 2.  (a)  Any transaction that evades or avoids, has the goal of evading or preventing, triggers a violation of, or makes an attempt to violate any of the prohibitions set forth in this buy is prohibited.
